Sarasota schedules District 1 and 3 traffic calming plan open houses

The City of Sarasota will hold two open houses in September to present proposed traffic calming improvements and gather feedback on its draft Traffic Calming Plan.

The District 3 meeting is scheduled for Sept. 15 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Ken Clark Auditorium, 2998 Ringling Boulevard. The District 1 meeting will be held Sept. 16 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex, 1845 John Rivers St.

Residents can review the draft plan and complete a survey at Sarasotafl.gov/TrafficCalmingPlan.
