Sarasota County Emergency Services to commemorate Sept. 11 victims

Sarasota County Emergency Services will participate in a Sept. 11 commemoration on Friday, Sept. 11, honoring the 2,977 people killed in the 2001 terrorist attacks.

First responders, veterans, local leaders and residents from across Sarasota County are expected to take part. The observance will also recognize those who responded to the attacks.
