UTC Sarasota Hosts Christmas in July Events Throughout Late July
University Town Center in Sarasota is holding a series of Christmas in July events on its green space over the coming weeks, beginning with a pet-focused fundraiser and continuing through late July.
The first event, Barks & Brews, takes place the evening of July 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. and features pet photos with Santa, live music and raffles. Proceeds benefit Nate's Honor Animal Rescue Center. A night market follows on Thursday, July 16, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., featuring local vendors, live music, artificial snowfall and a Santa appearance.
Two additional events round out the schedule. A music bingo night with a holiday theme is set for Monday, July 20, from 7 to 9 p.m. On Friday, July 24, at 8 p.m., the center will host a free outdoor screening of the film "Elf," accompanied by character meet-and-greets and concessions.
