Sarasota County Students Form Anti-Vaping Task Force

Students in Sarasota County Schools have established an Anti-Vaping Task Force aimed at addressing vaping among their peers. The student-led initiative focuses on education and addiction prevention within the district's schools.

The task force uses peer-led conversations to discuss the risks associated with vaping. Students involved in the effort also connect classmates with support resources, including a program called Teens Anonymous, which provides assistance to those dealing with nicotine addiction.
