Sarasota Health Department Marks 85 Years During Public Health Week

The Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County is observing National Public Health Week from April 6 through April 10, 2026. The observance coincides with the department's 85th year of service to the Sarasota County community.
On Tuesday, April 7, the department held an open house event at its facility. The event provided residents an opportunity to learn about available health services and programs, and to meet staff members.
