Sarasota County to Bring Back Civics 101 Program in Fall 2026

Sarasota County Government has announced that its Civics 101 program will return in fall 2026. The program is designed to give residents an inside look at how county government operates, including how services are managed and how decisions affecting the community are made.
According to the county, the program features interactive experiences, facility tours and presentations covering various aspects of county operations.
Registration dates have not yet been announced. Residents interested in participating can sign up through the county's website to receive a notification when enrollment opens. Additional program details are available at scgov.net/civics101.
