Woodland Middle School Teacher Recognized in District Spotlight Series

Sarasota County Schools featured Tylar Tracy, a seventh-grade science teacher at Woodland Middle School, as part of its recurring Teacher Tuesday series. Tracy teaches anatomy and physiology and has 11 years of classroom experience.

Tracy is a graduate of Sarasota High School. She has said she draws on her background as a student-athlete in her teaching approach, emphasizing discipline, leadership, and perseverance alongside science content.

The Teacher Tuesday series is an ongoing effort by the Sarasota County school district to recognize individual educators across its campuses.
