Dance at The Bay: Salsa & Sunsets

Learn a few Latin dance moves and then put them to practice at a Latino-inspired dance party while the sun sets over Sarasota Bay! Come as you are and bring your family, friends, a date, or just yourself to dance the night away.

The evening begins with a free Latin dance lesson from a talented Fred Astaire Dance Studios instructor and then practice your dance moves at a Latino-inspired dance party hosted by DJ Benny!

Don’t let the name fool you! A range of Latin dance styles will be featured.

Suitable for beginners and advanced dancers, singles and couples, alike.

Come thirsty! The Nest Café will be serving refreshing Margaritas, beer and more!

Know Before You Go:

Free parking is located around the site and all parking lots remain open — along Blvd of the Arts and in front of the Van Wezel, Municipal Auditorium and Blue Pagoda. Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas.
Construction of the new Town Square (located between the Municipal Auditorium and Art Center) is underway and affects pedestrian routes between the parking lot along N. Tamiami Trail and venues west of Van Wezel Way (incl. The Bay park, Van Wezel, and Holley Hall). Signs are posted to direct you between these locations. All pets must be non-aggressive and on a leash at all times. Owners are expected to pick up after their pets.
